King Arthur wasn't necessarily a "historical" figure as much as he is a legendary figure from tales. I don't think there's actually a lot of actual evidence he exist. At least the AC universe always have central plot NPCs be real. Of course they can fly off the handle and make a King Arthur game with the same gameplay, but you might as well not name it Assassin's Creed. Vikings is probably about 100% at this point. Leaks/hints like this haven't actually been wrong. Same with Origins and Odyssey.
